The 3M model evolved based on my experience supporting leaders and teams in a variety of settings. Mindset, method, and mood are all understood in theory, but they are not necessarily understood in practice, and furthermore, we all struggle to maintain a balanced focus on all three. If there is an imbalance we will not achieve mastery. It is only when our belief, our processes (practices/routines/rituals/habits), and our climate work in harmony with each other, and when they elevate our leadership, discipline, and teamwork/homework, that we truly sustain a level of performance that matches our potential.
